Hi,
Well, even though there's only 4 registered users of this site so far and this event is in 3 days' time and everybody already knows about it, I thought I'd still put it up as an example of a non-Bellett event that we'd like included in this section.
Entry forms can be gotten here:

I'm going down in my Bellett with a guy I know with a KE10 Corolla, so we'll be flying the Jap Nostalgia flag hard!
Cheers,
Dave

Re: Rockin Victor 2008 - 21 September 2008
Hey dudes,
Went to the inaugural Rockin' Victor show with Darren (De Soto Diplomat Plaza!) and Brenton (KE10 Corolla) to fly the Japanese nostalgia flag (well, Brenton and I did).
Here's a nice shot of us on the way - Brenton's KE10 in front and Darren's De Soto leading the (small) pack:
Brenton's KE10 is a nice thing to behold - with pimp-daddy red interior and white dashboard!
I did a few 'modifications' to the Bellett for the show; I carefully cut a couple of pin-up girls out of vinyl, stuck them on and then peeled them off... to lift my paint perfectly in the shape of some saucy babes.
I got my mate Nige to make up a sticker with "Hembra Japonesa Loca" which Alta-Vista translated from "Crazy Japanese Bitch!" and I put that on the back over the naff hi-mount brake light and voila! Instant trophy queen!
I did stick around for the trophies... thought i might get one for best custom paint... I should definitely have got one for best patina, but I don't think they had such a thing, dammit! Actually, Darren's patina was better anyway...
Here's another mate's car, Dargon's 1963 Belair - nice plate!
And I saw a couple of nice old Holdens...
Friend and fellow forum jockey Antus had his TX coupe in the car park but I didn't take a snap! The only other Isuzu-machine there! Whoops sorry dude!
Cheers,
Dave
