 RACQ MotorFest
MotorFest is Queensland’s largest display of vintage, veteran, classic and special interest vehicles, so it’s also fitting that this year’s event will also celebrate 50 years of Ford Falcon on Australian roads.
With these two impressive motoring milestones, registrations for the annual event to be held on Sunday 11 July at Eagle Farm Racecourse will fill fast.
Along with the 800 display vehicles from around the globe, the event will also offer family entertainment ranging from fashion parades and fine food and wine tasting, to driving simulators and kids’ carnival rides.
Early bird registrations for the event opened on 1 March and are available at the discounted rate of $15 (inc. GST) per vehicle until 7 May.
Full registration, at $25 (inc. GST) per vehicle will run from 8 May to 11 June, unless all places are filled earlier. No registrations will be accepted after 11 June or on the day of the event.
A $5 discount applies to clubs registering more than 10 vehicles, and to single owners who register more than one vehicle.
To register, or for more information, including terms and conditions, visit racq.com/motorfest or call 3872 8696.

 Re: RACQ MotorFest
Just thought I would throw in a reminder for Motorfest, as early registrations are closing, now that we have a few Belletts on the go would be a good oportunity to see if we can rival our southern mate for a good turnout, and would be good if we could all be together. what's the thoughts? who's interested?

 Re: RACQ MotorFest
Finally got to take a few photos without people in the way towards the end of the day, what a great creation of interest the Belletts made as people walked by and marvelled at Greg, Liz and Lewis's fantastic cars, I hope to join them one day. Attachment:

 Re: RACQ MotorFest
What a sweet trio! Walter looks fantastic, Liz. Sorry the grille badge wasn't in place for his first outing - I should have mailed it! I'm going to have to give it a good polish to bring it up to spec! Congrats on all the good work - very looking forward to Coona! Cheers, Matt.

 RACQ MotorFest
I gotta admit I admire you all who are restoring the Wasps!! Staring with Bretts Wasp many years ago, it seems he has started a "cult" within the group. CONGRATULATIONS to each of you, I will have both the still camera and the video out at Coona!!!
I never wish my life away, BUT rush on Coona! Dave M.

 Re: RACQ MotorFest
There should be a wasp empire to put some sting/zing into people that don't believe in the force. Wish there were more of the little flying critters around. Wasps forever cant wait to get mine going alas it is after my other PR90. But soon it will be buzzing around again Cheers till Coona ken
