Spin on oil filter adaptor

Post by Barney »

I have seen pictures of G150 Bellett engine that take a modern oil filter in the same position as the original cartridge would go. I am having trouble finding a replacement cartridge so thought about converting to this modern kind.

Example pic from Alistairs old bellett

Does anyone know what engine this is off?

It's original. Latest engines had these fitted. It's easy to change the flter, but more important; there is a return valve in the filter canister giving better oil pressure at start up .......
