The only reason I'm doing this is I don't have the cash to buy it myself! Oh, and George is a good bloke.
V6 WASP IS ON THE MARKET!
Anyone at the '08 nationals will confirm that this is a beautifully finished project. It scored the most points of any vehicle there.
My personal view is, if I set out to build a Retro-Wasp akin to New Mini / Beetle / FJ Cruiser / Dodge Challenger, this would be it. Only it's truer to the originel in shape.
FRONT.
BACK- All holes closed up. Badges replaced with screen printed transfers.
ENGINE BAY.- 3.8 lt VP Commodore V6. Airbox plumbed into leftside vent tube for cool air intake.
DASH. Instant fridge Aircon. Collapsible steering column.
HONDA INTEGRA SEATS. Covers removed,"WASP" embroidered, then refitted!

Injected V6 with 4-Speed Auto & Commodore Diff, including Disc Brakes.
Commodore front Discs on original Wasp Torsion Bar suspension. Datsun 180B Booster.
Wasp rear springs with 2 leaves removed for better ride & handling. 1/2 Tonne capacity.
(Removed leaves supplied)
Chassis & Body lengthened 6' (150mm) Bellett roof section fitted.- DECENT LEG ROOM!
Custom made 60lt Fuel tank.
17" Simmonds alloys.
Finished in 2-Pak Red tint (easy match)
New Laminated, non-tinted Windscreen. Side & rear window tints.
October 2010 (NSW) Rego (Note- Plates have been swapped for standard plates)
Fully Engineered. Certificate valid in any Australian state.
Car has travelled 8000 kms since I took these pics at between 8 & 9 lt/100km. (31 - 35 mpg)
Uses no oil.
