Where is the car located, how is the rust and how much do you want for it? I was actually gonna start looking for one in a couple months when my current project is a bit further along.

by my reckoning, it's a may-june 65 build.

using the numbers posted elewhere, we know that chassis # 4014973 was feb 65, and 4042963 was sept 65.
basic maths means that is near enuf to 28000 cars built in 7 months, making 4000 cars per month.
starting at the feb build number and working forward, it puts 4029588 around the may-june timeframe.

hope this helps davo, and to quote yourself.... "i will buy you a beer at coona", so i look forward to a cold one!!
cheers.

Would have to be keen to start that resto...

funny how some people just dont understand what a car is worth.

it is what someone else is prepared to pay!

or it just sits and rots till its towed to the tip as scrap. such a pity

jeez it's got more than it's fair share of tin worm....
we've all seen the bumpers rust, but never seen a grille that bad, so would hate to think what the rest is like in the "normal" rusty areas....
as OZ said.... keen resto'ers need only apply.

My Dad Graham Degnan and his brother Warren were in the Bellett car club (in NSW) and in it when it became the Isuzu car club. If Ive met any of you guys, I was probably still a little kid.

I am with you Brett, no idea and I have another prospect here in Sydney of a tear drop, good for restoration however they $6k for it, so it sits, AT LEAST IN A SHED!! ;)
At the most it would be worth $2K, when I suggested that figure they decided to sit on it a while, it is left from a deceased estate, still has a loty of work needed, very little rust.
They talked themselves about restoration, BUT I don't think it will happen, too much sentimantal value attached! :(

Hey Simmo, I probably know you, (yes you would have been a littley then  ) I know both Graham and Warren in fact see Warren on a regular basis. Time for another thread I think!!

Drop it like a hot scone Davo, especially if there's a PR90 in the offing! Man, there's some greedy people out there...how the hell did he come up with $3k as a reasonable price?
