Re: Li'l Darlin'
You know water is a byproduct of complete combustion right? So when your engine is running efficiently you will always get a bit of condensation dripping out the tail pipe. If it was steaming when up to temp or smelling of glycol then yes I'd suspect a head gasket. My best advice is to take it for a ...

Yep I've got the only surviving group A Gemini, the ex John White car :)
The Darryl Hendrick car was crashed post group A when rallying, then cut up into a sports sedan and crashed even worse! Shell went bye byes years ago apparently.
There's another car that was raced at the Wellington 500 in 86 ...

G180W came out in the 117 in early 70's I think 1973? Same block as G180S ohc, minor changes to the G180 Florian ohv block.
Dohc isn't overrated, just no one in aus has really pushed one yet. My friend had an internally stock with stock cams with twin 40mm dellortos G200W in a Gemini and it made ...

From what I've read of the rules, that you are allowed to use a substitute engine of larger capacity etc as long as it is the same engine family, would it be out of the question to fit a twin cam to it? Kinda turn it into a 4 door gtr?

That's Lachy's backyard lol.
Gunna I just found out recently that I have met you before. I came to look at your GT, Wasp and 117 twin cam you were selling out of the trading post in about 2001, I was in the green gemini coupe. I have some pics somewhere I took that day.

Re: NEW 117
Hi Peter, congrats on the purchase! Can you please post a pic of the engine bay, maybe even one from either side? It will most likely be the sane layout engine wide as a Gemini or late Luv. I'm sure a Gemini 5 speed would fit if the starter is on the drivers side. Only real variable is the shifter I ...

Re: SR20 Engine Conversion
SR20det are a fairly unreliable engine tbh. 4G63 is a very very good engine.. I love them. If you are on Facebook there is a great group called 4G63 RWD, there are a number of ways to do it and all the people you need to talk to are on there. Or on the forum www.projectzerog.com

Re: Bellett Paint Code
These days they have a photoelectric gun that will spit out mixing ratios for any paint colour after you hold the gun up to the car, you need about a foot square of decent paint to do it though.
