Linkage for Carbie

I'm chasing a linkage set up for Bella as part of the carbie replacement as the car was set up with a cable.

If anyone has a spare original carbie linkage set up from the pedal to the carbie that they are willing to part with could you please reach out. Thanks

Thanks Farmer you are 100% correct.

Here are a couple of pics. I can only post 2 at the minute, I will add Rob's car, please excuse the mess but I am in the process of un-burying this car and all its associated parts but it give you an idea the photos don't do it justice.

Re: Belletts Nationals in Issue 395 of Unique Cars

Very well written Dave and it shows the passion you and all the other dedicated owners of Belletts in all forms, this is why I have become addicted to the model its not only a cool car, plus my Dad owned 2 brand new one's back in the day.

I will say it again the assistance I and my Dad have ...

What are people doing to replace the lower control arm bushes on the front end.

I am restoring Dad's front end and need to replace these bushes, any tips on removing them too.

Re: Bellett GT Project

Been working hard on the GT pulling her to pieces and going through everything. Bloody bolts, screws only broke a couple but got the doors off without damaging the screws.

I finally trial fitted the SR20DET today with no oil pan to see how she would fit, so far so good I need to trial fit the ...

Re: Bellett GT Project

Thanks to GT Orphanage for bumping up your yellow beast.

Great read and a great car to boot. I have one question through I like the later 68-69 tail lights is there anyone cutting a sedan up for the rear valance panel and a set of tail lights. I am still not sure of changing it yet as I have been ...

Re: Bellett GT Project

The GT will definitely not be that low unless I fit airbags???

We have a minimum height of 100mm for road rego in SA and that is based at the lowest point of the car including the exhaust.

So the Blue one is just for reference only to show how it looks with flares.

I have spoken to a mate of mine ...

Re: Bellett GT Project

Thanks for everyone's input its great, I have been offered some parts of late and it is sort of pushing me to restomod the car rather than extensively modify it. I know this is a complete turn around but there will be some mods done but as it happens once you have a car some stuff comes out of the ...

Re: Bellett GT Project

Ok, my body number states it was manufactured in August 1967 based on the info page with all the different model variations over the years, if this helps with any details I should be asking.

Re: Bellett GT Project

Thanks GT Orphanage.

Would the body number give us any details on what model it might be, it looks like a twin head light model but I am not sure.

This is becoming a bit of a nightmare, as the person I am dealing with is not really a specialist in Bellett's but more with Datsun's & Mazda's, so not ...

Re: Bellett GT Project

Hi,

I have been making some enquiries in Japan for some parts for the GT and I have been offered parts off a series 2 Bellett which is the later model with the plastic grill and the square tail lights and wanted to know if any of the body parts will fit mine.
