Re: Raising twin cam compression?
I was told the best way is to fit a 1800 head on my g200w so I have purchased one but true condition is still unknown at this time.

Raising twin cam compression?
Hi, I would like to up compression on my G200W. My budget won't cover new pistons.
So any suggestions ?
Has anyone experience shaving the head or thinner gasket or both?
Thanks.

Hi, I have owned a Opel GT and a G200W and planed to marry the two for a long time but didn't have a gearbox but thanks to one of your members I bought several Bellett boxes.
So I started to get serious now that I'm retired and started on the body work and as you might guess a 50+year old sports ...

Re: Swapping a Isuzu engine into my Opel GT
Hi, my aging memory is that the G200W is the DOHC engine. I had an early 117 DOHC engine (red top) and fitted a Rodeo gear box to it, 5 speed. Starter is on the correct side for the gearbox. I had to do a few things to get the clutch working but nothing hard. Long time back i did this.

Re: Gemini front end
Hi
I have fitted a gemini front end in my opel gt
It was nothing like the original.
I removed the mounts from the gemini cross member and made new ones to suit so they sat over the x mem from front to back so it could sit together even without welding.
