Hi Glenn have just measured a caliper and the spacing is 89mm so this is an imperial size of 3.500 inches hope this helps regards peter.

I have already checked with acl about getting them remade and they will do them but need to order a min of 300 sets very expensive I'll have a look through my spares as I should have a few spare sets that I won't need. Peter.

The car you have seen is not that car as that car was in a smash and the then owner decided to restore it with all the good bits that came from another gt so if this is the car it should have disc's on the back when I last spoke with the owner heed got the traveling bug so the car had to go so did ...

No not Daryl Glenn Aurther mc--------- does it ring a bell he had a late sedan when I first joined the club in 1980 and then the 1971 model green gt witch I got the twin cam out of that went into my blue sedan he lived in Hustbridge.

I have used the single cam gasket on the twin cam before as it still seals ok but won't work the other way

The head gaskets are not the same the flame ring on the twin cam is round and the flame ring on the single cam is out of round to suit the combustion chamber of the head

These bearings have not been made by acl for over 15 years and they won't be doing any more even know they are still listed alot of the older bearings in the acl catalogue are still listed but are no longer made you may have some luck at automotive surplus in mitcham give Bernie a call on 03 873 ...

If your talking about the cam bearings in the block the acl number is 3c6127 which are very hard to get now but repco or bursons may still have a set in stock the shaft size is just under 45mm and the tunnel size is 48mm hope this helps regards Peter.
