Re: fitting sigma discs to bellett

Has anyone ever measured or tried to find an alternative steering knuckle/stub axle that will connect to the bellett balljoints and steering while also providing a disc brake upgrade???

Re: BELLETTS FOR SALE IN NZ

A friend had looked at the GT and mentioned it had been badly creased around the roof where it was lifted with strops, and also had some structural rust. Very rare looking one with the headlight covers and whatnot though!

Another friend bought a 312 bluebird.

Very cool collection the guy had, but ...

Re: broken rear axle

Not very helpful unless you have swapped parts around, but some advice I have learned along the way:

Axles spend all their life turned in mostly one direction (ignoring reverse for now). If you grabbed a spare off another car and put it in the wrong side, they are very easy to snap since you are ...

Re: heater fan unit ?

I suspected as much, amongst my parts was a second heater control panel, this one had the push pull fan control, I have put it in the car but have yet to find and install a fan

$1 Res! - The GT-R / GT-R Replica GT - New Zealand

Hi team, I am sure many of you have seen this car listed before.

I do not wish to start another debate, but thought I would re-post it, as the owner has now listed it as a $1 reserve auction, after months and months of asking $12-18,000.

Re: 1969 Isuzu Bellett

Not much progress on the Bellett as far as I am aware. Tom has been working away on the Gemini's and lately a Toyota Cressida. Build thread for teh Cressida here: http://www.oldschool.co.nz/phpbb/viewto ... 17&t=22370

Re: 1968 Isuzu Bellett 1500

Long time no update!

Have managed to get the horn working 99% of the time, the first toot sometimes takes two presses of the horn but after that it works fine.

Have cut down a chevy luv engine mount to replace the worn drivers side one, sits ~8mm higher but otherwise works well.

Got an old roof ...

Re: the "name game" of Belletts/Wasps/Florians

Barney, after the dinosaur thing on the children's tv show. My flatmates named it due to the colour, even if its not quite the same the name has stuck and I think it suits.

Re: mrflibbles gets a bellett

Very cool starting point! Love the rat look.

These small cars make 15" wheels look HUGE, perhaps won't look as out of proportion if it was lowered.

Looking forward to future updates :)
