Enfield and 65bellett get too close to the bitumen
Just for those not on FB
Gavin has had to argue with a kangaroo of all things, and is in hospital waiting for his arm to have surgery.
i would like to wish him well on his recovery and hope the Enfield is back on the road soon too.
get well real quick mate

Re: Enfield and 65bellett get too close to the bitumen
Hope it is not too serious ,Gav.. Something is going to have to be done about the 'roo numbers in Victoria. Had an icident which cost a lot of money and could had caused alot of injury (no oncoming vehicles at tthe time) just before Christmas. We have 'roos around our home on a regular basis , this has nver been seen before that I can remember in the past 60 years.

Re: Enfield and 65bellett get too close to the bitumen
if only it was 3's...
i think the count with Sarah's (Gav's wife) Subaru is 3 on it's own, so that makes the total 5 or so.

Hey GAVIN,
ALL the very best from all of us in ICCA!!
We hope your recovery is full and complete very soon.
Reading the above, it sounds like you have a serious "Wooly Jumper" PROBLEM IN YOUR REGION.
KB, is right maybe your community should go to Council or Parks and Wild Life to see if you gain a Cull in your area??

May i ammend that to "Worse than an Indian driving a Marina taxi"? Give way ??....What way ??......NO WAY !!
Gav, it's been a season of knocks for ya, mate. But when you pull through, we can exchange some hoppy/motorbike stories. Had a bad one myself in my 20's living in the Flinders. Nothing like being shirt fronted off ya bike by a 150kg buck. Damn thing got up after, shook his head and bounced off into the scrub
Hope the Enfield didn't cop it too bad either. Speedy recovery Dude.
btw, Roos are thick down these parts also. Easy feed, no predators and always reproducing. My work partner is the vermin controller.....that's fancy name for "dude who has gun and culling licence to shoot the @#&$ out of the popullation". I've asked him to get a few back for ya,
B.

Yeah, rotten luck Gav. I hope the surgery goes well & you're up & about soon. I too have that recent hit with skip in the Florian, but would be nasty on a bike. There are plenty about these parts too. They're feeding along the roads as the feed is a bit greener there.
Get well soon,
Matt & family.

Sorry to hear of your fall my beardy brother. I hope all heals well and not too many tears are shed when you see your Enfield again (I hate seeing a bearded man cry). I wish you both a speedy recovery.
