   | Hello Everyone,
My wife and I travelled to Gympie over Christmas 2014/15 to look at properties to buy for our retirement in 10 years time (or sooner) and we have got a lovely home in the great town of Gympie........
It has 4 bedrooms, media room, SUPERB views, a 9x7m shed (not big enough at the moment) and two car garage on a 2.5 acre block in Chatsworth - 5 minutes out of the city centre.

We are super excited about the future and moving down to a cooler climate where we can WORK ON BELLETTS!!!!!! (me that is) Bernadette will be tending to the gardening which she enjoys.

 Photos to come:

   | Sweet! You'll only be a stones throw away from myself, Mr Orphanage n Leadfoot Liz, Rassle, Occa n Trish, PR95 n Mum + a bunch of others And when I say stones throw, you better have a bloody good throwing arm as it's a good 2hr stone throw But you'll still be within cruizin' distance that's for darn toots _________________

   | Yes the previous owner was a HAM Radio operator and the "lightning rod" has been removed. A radio room - 3x3m room in the shed - with 23 double power points in and outside of the shed (46 power points) I will only need 1 metre long extension leads in there - heh heh heh. L
I am planning to double the size of the shed to 14x9m and insulating it to fit all our toys in it with working room.
 We cannot wait.

   | Hey thats great news! We will all finally eventually get to meet you both, and stinky. Looks like a really great location, with a shorter humid season. How much sooner than later can you make that retirement do you reckon?
 Thanks for showing, Matt.

   | Yep - it would be great to be driving distance from you guys.
I say 10 years - but if we sell up everything we have up here we could be down there in months not years - we would have to do some sort of work - but not what we are doing now.

I work for my families printing business - and have done since leaving school. My parents both work in the business and are in there early 70's - dad still loves his work and they both are healthy and active.

Who knows...................anyone wanna buy a printing business in Darwin?
