Local Bellett Outings

Post by KJB »

I have had my Teardrop and also previously my '67 GT out for a run to attend a monthly meeting ( lunch at a l country hotel ) of a group of car enthusiasts . The gathering is called "The Petrol Sniffers " and is made up of mainly retired people who have been involved in cars, restoration , racing, collecting etc. throughout their lives . Many have some very interesting cars which they often bring along . There are many interesting stories but also a rare depth of knowledge of cars and motorsport etc. that they are only too happy to share . The collective experience of this group could fill a series of books I am sure. I look forward to these , generally 2 hour , informal meetings.
I think without exception they all remember the Belletts in the '60's and many have stories of owning one or of mates etc. who have had them.

Nice Kerry. I bet the cars enjoy it as much as their owners. Gotta keep them oiled up and good to go.
Keep on it mate, and perhaps show us some pics of their cars?

Cheers, Matt.
