It apears that warwick had a gearbox failure with the input and mainshaft have had a disagreement (ouch) the shell has been sandblasted and a early model coloum shift box seems to share the same shafts all other gearboxes i have are 100mm longer. Both shafts have been removed and look the same the next few day's will confirm.
Maybe it's a good thing as it was retired and parked instead of a padock basher. The last of the chassis powdercoating has returned so the fun begins. The engine is stripped and heading to the machine shop for a hone and a freshen up and the sump front and rear engine plates are heading for powdercoating. A little quicker than 1st thought but patches is still in intensive care for a while yet. But he is making progress.
Fresh chassis photo's soon these things are awsome to do just walk in to pedders with your credit card  new shocks, upper ball joints swaybar link pins, drag link tie rod ends, swaybar bushes all available. We are getting a set of engine mount's and outer tie rods from usa. Front and rear wheel bearings and seals are also available. Brake kits are available also these include shoe retainers springs the lot. New drums are available also but ours are ok they have been powdercoated and machined.

Great work! Interesting that your gearbox was crook. Gary's Ute has a crook one too. I suppose putting a ton(+) on them for 20-30-40 years is a big ask. Still, shows it would be difficult to overload the essentially same box in a Bellett.
Live & learn - about the column shift box. Good investigating!
It's good to know that all those bits are available, common parts with Luv/KB I suppose.
Could I ask you to keep a record of numbers & suppliers for me? I'll get to mine one of these years!
Very, very impressed.
Cheers, Matt.
