Another panel done, one more front guard and bonnet to go In next couple weeks then onto prep for painting early next year. Not sure about the paint colour, original is Grey but am toying with a gloss black (can’t remember ever seeing a black bellett) as there will be a black trans am parked next to it next year. The PR90 isn’t going to have its original motor so it’s going to have a 67GT motor if I do original colour or a twin cam if I do non original. Am open to opinions.

I have to admit I love the original colour and black on a car that only has wind down air conditioning can get a tad warm.

I have seen a black Wasp but am unsure if it was original colour

There's a black sedan in Vic club. 1st I have ever seen.

Having had a black everyday car in the past, I would never have another. Keeping it clean was a nightmare. Looked great when it was clean though........ for 5 minutes.

Black wasn't an opinion on a Wasp.
That one was repainted many many years ago.

I know of the black sedan (surprise surprise.....) as well Glenn. I know of another sedan that was originally black but is now white so it's the only sedan left in black.
There's was a GT around a couple of decades ago in black but it disappeared. I wouldn't be surprised of it didnt exist any longer as the owner was well known for being pretty brutal with his cars...
Another GT is in a million pieces and has been for over 15 years and apparently that one was going to be black when finished but it's never gotten that far.

That rang a bell........ from your post long time back:

List is incomplete tho.
"Zwart Black" is not listed. Checked known factory black car, but label is missing....
Will dig thru paperwork to try and find the code.

Brett wasn't there a black sedan in NSW club years ago? As I recall it had a DOHC engine in it.

Yep.
Wasn't a factory black car tho. The sedan that is still black now and the one that's been painted white are/were factory black.
There was never a factory black GT tho which is weird because it was obviously available on a sedan and.the GT shape lends itself to dark colours really well so you'd think they would have, but no.

Is that the factory code?
I have a brochure here where it's referred to as "Zwart Black". Zwart apparently is the German word for black too

Is there any pictures of any GT in like a dark charcoal grey, is there a factory Gt colour in dark grey or is there only the common paler grey with the slight blueish tone.

This is the info. printed on the Berger Paints Colour Sample Swatch - I reckon would be Berger Paints Number and ID.
