Hi all, members etc of the BCCV met on the 12th for a Christmas Lunch. (all u can eat place)

After a great lunch we 'retired' to the car park and talked Bellett for another hour.

Present: 2 GT's, 1 sedan, 1 Sport, and 1 117 coupe. Great to see cars out again. My own Sport has only been out twice this year!

Glenn

Thanks Matt

I just noticed how low my Sport is compared to the sedan. And the wipers on the drivers side too. (although i may have mentioned that long ago, in 2012 when i got it. Amazing how time flies.)

Yeah mate, it is low. GT equipment! Makes sense it would be lower, and I reckon the wipers would do a better job too.
Hopefully this year we can all get them together more often. I use my cars quite a bit of course, just like driving them! The Rodeo is so handy I'll have used all my 60 days soon. So Shrek the Wasp will need to take over the haulage roles.
Thankfully I have another Wasp, a long wheelbase, to register, in case Shrek runs out of days! (Or just for variety).
Tracy bought me a TIG welder for Christmas, so I'll be into the Sport soon. More logbook days!
Happy New Belletting Year!
Cheers, Matt.

Hi Matt
Mine has a stage '3' suspension kit according to the seller, as you know. And i guess part of that is its a bit lower. But the ride is very harsh. Original shockers where shot so replaced with Pedders Gas. Really needs to be softened up a bit though for normal road usage. One day i will get to that.
Afraid mine doesn't get anything like the 45day usage i have on club reg here. 90 days is optional at extra cost of course, but we can just pay extra if we use the 45 to top it up to 90.

As it happens, I got a TIG AC/DC welder last year for a steal...... $150 from Bunnings at the time. (I actually had DC only TIG before that but gave it away when when we moved) Reduced from over $1k several times to the $150...long story. Yet to try it out though. I got the gas cylinder before Xmas so just need to set it up and try out. 1st job is to make a trolley for it. I mainly got it to weld aluminium although I only bought when it got down to that ridiculous price.
