OK it's on again. We had a great time last Jan and were made very welcome, Barrie and I.

Would like a few more takers to come with us though this time. ANYBODY ???

Meet at my place 7:15am in Narre Warren, then straight down to Warragul. Easy 40-45minute drive only.

Barrie is going again this time the other halves are coming too, on promise we will buy them a great breakfast.

so what's holding you up? Weather is due to be fine and 32c.... perfect.

Perfect day for it, EXCEPT, as we got close to Warrigul, we could barely see anything ! First we thought it was the smoke from the open cut fires, but no smell, so figured it was fog. Thick fog !

Must have put a few people off as the attendance was way down on last Jan. Still worth the trip though. Several new cars of interest. Some late model Merc's Porches, old Fiats and an incredible V8 Hispano Suiza. I think the guy said it was 16 litres. 6mpg consumption though !

The girls (wives) had a great time......... shopping. For a country town, Warrigul has a lot of shops! Also a lot of bike riders in their Lycra, filling up the Cafes.

We only spent the morning there as other commitments in afternoon. Most were gone anyway by 11am (including us)

will post pictures asap.

I didn't take many pictures but these two cars were of most interest to me at least.

The Hispano car was around 1st WW I think. The owner had just got it on the road the day before. That V8 was monobloc heads. A work of art for the time i would think. A number of non original items on it though. Welded alloy catch tanks and the like. Most out of period were the quad 2" SU's fitted after the original carbs prove too troublesome.

The Falcon, obviously a US import i think was called the Sprint? This was red inside and out. 260cu in V8.
