Wings, Wheels and Wine. Mudgee NSW.
Saturday 18th April is the annual show held at Mudgee's Airport displaying all types of vehicle's, from Modern, Vintage, Veteran and Classic eras.
During the day various displays are on including brilliant model Aircraft flying and well as aerobatics, last year the RAAF Aerobatic team put on 2 displays of brillaint flying.
This year we are having the Shannons Insurance trailer attend with various interactive displays as well as the well known Goggomobile.
Saturday is a great start to very relaxing weekend in the Cudgegong Valley where you can experience some of the produce of the region, along with free tasting of the local wines, including the Winery of the owner of "Wild Oats" the Sydney to Hobart yacht race winner.
Mudgee is only a relaxing 3 1/2 hour drive from Sydney.

Re: Wings, Wheels and Wine. Mudgee NSW.
What a Great day was had by all those that spoke to me.
We had about 20 people travel to Mudgee to enjoy perfect day weather wise, we ended up with 4 Belletts and 1 Geminin Staion Wagon.
With various displays during the day, inclding the drop from a Helicopter from a height of 500 feet, with hilarious results (it is what should happen to all Volvos, as long as thay are not Insured with Shannons), many interesting comments on the cars and one new member of the Isuzu Car Club of Australia picking up a sedan accident damaged, with spares for NOTHING as a result of just being there!!
Some people have all the luck!!
The day started with a washing frenzy at my home in Mudgee at 700 am, from there we drove to an assembly point with the local Car Club, who welcomed us with open arms, from there we travelled in convoy to the Mudgee Airport to be placed in our allocated spot for the day.
On Saturday night 13 of us gathered for a meal and talk of old times at one of the local Hotels, and watching some video of the 10th Anniversary of the Sydney Club, boy was there some laughs in that 25 minutes or so!!!
Thank you to all those that travelled over the weekend and made the weekend what it ended up being, loads of BELLETT talk, reminiscing and fun.
The photo of the group from the left, Margaret Maurice, Yvonne Bailey, Bob Bailey, Margaret Smith, Monicas Smith, Garry Smith, Christina Hughan, Julie Amos, Tom Amos, Neville Hannah, as usual I was behind the camera!! (Mind you the best pace for me!!)

Re: Wings, Wheels and Wine. Mudgee NSW.
Isn't it funny how these days always start with mad washing/polishing and getting all of the last minute things done... As they say, if it wasn't for the last minute nothing would get done.
Thanks for posting the pics of the day Davem, it looks like a good turn out and almost clear skies to boot
It's also good to see the Belletts out playing in the sun and their owners catching up with a few beers as well!
Cheers,
R.
