Glad we had previous weekends weather, with over 30 OSJCC members cars attending the 4 to 500 car QLD Japanese Day,a good turn out of Belletts with one scoring a trophy, here goes a few photo's, something for everyone, just like recent thread V8 in a GT, check out some motors going into the Toyota's, Dave up in Gladstone and Lindsay in Maryborough hope the big wet stayed well away from all your Bellett goodies, Gerry.

Stickman Iam glad you got that photo,it never ceases to amaze me the attention Donkey gets where ever we go,I was on the phone to Davo when the inspection of Donkey's rear end was taking place, but saw what was going on,he had a morning Gig so could'nt drive Lewis's other GT but was going to rush up in afternoon all a bit to late.
You left early and missed the usual icecream stop and chance to talk more Belletts,we had a visitor that used to race Belletts from down south and no it was'nt Colin Bond

What's this "used to" race....?
Re: Old School Japanese Car Club goes to All Japanese Day QL
Oh, and on the Colin Bond subject....
I've been invited, and to bring a car, to a 1960's Bathurst night down here in late March. Will be a lot of drivers there from back then, and special guest is:
Colin Bond.... who apparently is very keen to be around a Bellett again and talk all things Bellett.

Re: Old School Japanese Car Club goes to All Japanese Day QL
Hi Gerry. Thanks for thinking of us up here. I don't know how Lindsay faired. We had more wind than rain. From what I heard,
all the rain was whipped off the tail and went south. Yeppoon, Rocky. and Biloela copped it. Again more wind and no rain.
People ringing into the ABC with lots of stories. Trees uprooted. Roofs missing. Power lines down. My daughter only got power
back yesterday. Thursday. A 32 foot container blown over on its side. One fella rang in and said his chicken coop was missing.
Wasn't sure if the choocks were still there. Too dangerous to go look see. Talking to a client on Monday and he said his
neighbour has a choock pen in his yard but doesn't keep choocks. Maybe that was it. Who knows.
Would like to acknowledge the phone calls and text messages I had received. It was very overwhelming too receive them.
Good to know we have a plethora of people in our midst who would like to know how their mates are going.
Gerry.
What is it that under the rear end of a Bellett that we have people checking it out.
This forum has a few photos of
"DORRIES" lying down and inspecting the rear end. Last time I was under Donkey [on the hoist] I think we determined
he was a male.
Good pic's. THanks for showing.
Dave.
