New replacement front indicator lenses - not original design

Post by BrisBellett »

Hi, I have found a set of lights that replace the original front indicator/parker lights. These are not the original ones but a set I bought some time ago for another application. I had a look and did some measurements and found they were very close to the original ones in size. These - if I can load the pics - you can see they have separate indicator and parker lights but in light (no pun intended ;) of the situation.....ie: no more NOS or aftermarket ones - these will suit the car and eliminate the problem . See what you all think. I contacted the guy I got these off and he is running them down for me and should get back to me within a week or so. From memory they were about $100/set several years ago.

Hey BrisBellett

Are they from a specific car? An MG or something?

Cheers,
Ross.

Hi, could be from an MG...not sure..picked them up at a swap meet some time ago. I finished installing the left side today and the bullet plugs are correct size although I had to extend the wiring on the lights to reach the bullet plugs up above the headlights.

Indicators are MGB - Lucas L677.
They are about $75 inc postage off eBay.
UK seller.
You can also buy clear/white lenses on eBay which come with an orange globe for another $30 pr.

Cheers
Rob

If any one wants a set PM me as I own the set in that post and have removed them to put original ones back in.
