Hi all.
This link sent to me a while ago by a mate who owns a Hillman Imp GT, and was searching for racing stuff when he stumbled across this:
http://www.ten-tenths.com/forum/showthread.php?t=107416
I already knew that there was 3 Bellett's imported to the England in the day, that being 2 Sedans and a lone GT, and that the GT was used as a race car (pretty successfully by John Sprinzel), but i never realised they raced a Sedan as well... and with a very well known driver too.
The write-up about the GT when it was for sale much later in life is interesting too, with regard to who race prep'ed it.
Enjoy!!

That is a top find. Is this the same photo that Dave posted in the Bellett History section of the forum?

I found another reference to the McLaren Bellett in an online book called Motor Racing at Goodwood in the Sixties By Tony Gardiner. Some good info and a nice little pic.
