Swap meet find!!!

Post by oz_toffa »

went out early today to Tanunda which is about an hour drive from Metro Adelaide.
normally good Swap Meet but was a bit light on this year. no good range of Ryco air filters or carbi sellers either
so i spotted a familiar sized box and this is what i scored!

a 40 year old box which is original and has all the right stuff inside as well.

FIND yeah baby...

certainly not going to be used, even has the o-ring and felt seal for inside the spring plate thingy.
it has been suggested i store it in a plastic or glass case. need to be away from direct sun so it doesnt fade either.
and the guy at the swap meet didnt have many filters for sale, just 3 or 4. was about the first or second row i checked out.

have not seen one for many many years myself.

well worth the trip out there. just never know what will pop up at the next one??
