Hi people,
I was entered in the Rock and Roll Rendezvous that was held in April and a couple of weeks' beforehand I got a call from the local paper, the Southern Times Messenger asking if they could put our car in there!
The feature a different entrant from every area and they didn't know what the Isuzu Florian was so they thought they'd give us a call!
The photographer met me at work and we went down to a picturesque park where she reeled off about a thousand photos. She even used the phrase 'yeah, work it like that'.
Needless to say, only one shot got used... although that's another story... and in some ways not.
Because a guy who lives one suburb over from me gets the Hills Messenger rather than the Southern Times.... and there we were again! This time with another different photo, different title but the same article!
Personally, I think this title is the best:
READY TO ROCK
Awesome!
I don't have a scan of the other article as I keep leaving it at work. But here's the Florian and my stupid head in all their glory per the Southern Times!
Florian rules! Sorry, Belletts rule better, but the Florian is my best-condition vehicle at the moment, so it ruled for the day!

I think, quite rightly so, that the car looked like a rockstar. I can get you a tyre imprint or a jar of interior air, but it doesn't do interviews.

Surely you'd have to take out the 'Spirit of the Day' award with an Isuzu???

Nah man that kind of award always goes to a 1959 Cadillac or a Mustang or some other American car.
