   | What a shock. Please pass out condolences to his family

He was quiet a character and we loved the tour he gave us of his family property and the garage full of classic cars.
not to mention his ability to panel beat better than most Crash Shops and build a motor that ran so sweet.

James are you able to send me an address via PM that we could send a card to

 Cheers

   | This is so very sad. Andrew and Sue were so welcoming to us when we were in Tassie for the Nationals. They invited us to stay for 3 nights, we went out to dinner and had a great time. They suggested great places to visit and ensured we enjoyed Hobart. He took me looking for paddock finds, and gave me the tour of his shed too. I'm so glad we had that time, and will remember it always.
Please pass our sympathy on to Sue and all the family as well.

 Value every day, my friends.
 Love, Matt.

   | It absolutely breaks my heart to hear of the passing of our friend and brother. An extraordinary gentleman and character to boot.
I only got to spend the one weekend at Merimbula Nationals hanging out and laughing with Andrew and Sue but it was a meeting that proved for me to be one of lasting impressions and the cementing of a true friendship.
I found a kindred spirit who shared a mutual love for Bellett's and Marina's alike
I sadly missed our reunion in Tassie but still managed to share a laugh with him there anyway.
I will sorely miss his humor, banter and input on the forum and I grieve the loss of a beautiful human being.

My deepest sympathies and condolences to Sue and family.
Farewell Yellow Peril my brother and friend

 Sticky

   | I'm sitting here in absolute shock....Andrew was a gentleman in every sense. A wealth of personally gained knowledge that he was only too happy to share, and always one who was interested in gaining further knowledge from others as well.
I first met Andrew about 4 or 5 years ago when he came up to Phillip Island for the historic races, wide eyed and completely in his element. He fitted in with the craziness that ensues every year, and vowed he'd return with the mighty Bellett in Group N one day.
We conversed a lot about getting the specs for a Group N Bellett correct, and I'm proud to say that together we achieved that over a period of time, which is what then set him on the path of building his car.
Only a year ago I caught up with him at Phillip Island again when he was here for the historic races while pit crewing for his brother in law on his Formula Vee. To say Andrew was again in his element was an understatement..... He was full of enthusiasm to have the Bellett there ASAP and even asked if I would help set the car up during that time and then pit crew for him as well. All things I was honoured to be involved with and greatly looking forward too.....
Today I offer my sincerest condolences to all of Andrew's family and friends from not only a Bellett brother, but all of my family and the Bellett Car Club of Victoria as a whole.
RIP, and say G'day to our other brothers who have passed til we meet again.
 Brett. PR91.

   | May 22 is Round 5 of the Victorian Hillclimb Championship, and I'll have the Bellett out there again gunning for the overall title.....I'll pay tribute to Andrew and his Bellett racing aspirations then. Maybe we should all do similar?

Met Andrew in Merimbula and what a top Guy and Gent.

Please convey our condolences to Andrew's family from all of us in the Isuzu Car Club of Australia!
Not much one can say, it has all been said already, Andrew's passing is a shock to us all, we never know when we are to be called.
Our thoughts are with the family.
 Best regards,
 Dave Maurice.

   | RIP Yellowperil It's always sad to lose one of the Bellett brethren, it's made all the more tragic when it's clearly before their time; Andrew was only 59 which is way too young to lose anyone, especially someone who clearly had so much more living to do. I only met Andrew a couple of times over the course of a couple of Nationals; actually perhaps only one, but we had a great time, talked a lot of BS and had a great laugh. Further to this, he was more than happy to show me his car, which I worshiped!! Again, RIP Yellowperil; please pass on my condolences to his family. Attachment:
