Bellett Oil Filter

Post by 2ldohc »

To kick things off I'll mention that when I was trying to track down an oil filter for the G150 motor (cannister type) they didn't have Bellett on the books (surprise, surprise)

However, they did have Morris 1100 on the books and it uses the same filter cartridge.

I'll post the Ryco filters part number when I find it.

Cheers,
Ross

is a R2211P.
and they fit Massey Ferguson "grey" tractors and some big Lister air compressors. they fit a couple of other things too, but i can't remember what they are.

i've got a list here somewhere of Bellett filter part numbers that I'll dig out one day.
it has 5 or 6 different filter manufactuers part numbers for most filters on a Bellett, so that helps coz Ryco don't make R2211P anymore, let alone the rest of the filters either.

Thanks PR91, that'd be great. It's always a pain trying to explain to Repco or the like what a Bellett is!

I bought one off Ebay just recently - genuine Isuzu oil filter. Will try to track down the info and pass it on to everyone.

Reference to replacement oil filter R2211P, Motormate here in Adelaide were able to supply an equivalent -
FLEETGUARD LF566
At $20 they are not given away, but RYCO were not cheap either.

Thanks, Betty. Gary Carter also found this reference, bought one and fitted it. It's spot on. Apparently they fit some Case equipment, Perkins diesels, etc. and are readily available. Price at the Fleetgard agent in Young (N.S.W.)is $13 inc G.S.T. Try farm machinery places.
ALSO, Ryco R2121P is interchangeable and was still available about a year ago. Happy New Year. Matt.

I have used a Wix 51302.
Unsure who sells this brand as it came with the car.

And all the above !! You're right 2ldohc, Repco aren't helpful because they need to follow up a bulk order. The lady at the counter said i would need to purchase at least 20  But Autopro were extremely helpful and can source most expendable parts. Get to know your local Autopro guy, good value.
