hi from the sentimental bloke

Post by Dolbel'sGT »

g'day all, Andy here. I bought a Bellett back in '72. It was a lovely little blue 4 door. Had a ding in it and met Col Dolbel who was a Bellett rally driver from Toongabbie way or Wentworthville. Can't quite remember which. He helped me get back on the road but more importantly sold me his white GT '65 model which I loved for quite a number of years. It took me all over the NW of NSW where I worked and never missed a beat. It was a lovely little car. I sold it in '78 and have missed it ever since. I believe it went to a good home. I'm sure I've seen it restored. It's number plate was GLZ 752 and would love to know where it ended up. Also got to know Ted Freeman well. Great bloke and did a very nice rebuild on the GT for me.
