Welcome aboard Frans.
Please post some photos, there is no such thing as a 1500 1968 GT. The very first GT in the early sixties were 1500's, then they developed into the 1600, then the single and twin cam motors.
Seeing your photos we can then determine what model you have. Yours sounds like the original motor has been replaced with a sedan motor. We would also get a better idea if you can post the chassis number?

Welcome Frans,

I own a 69 sedan that was imported to Australia from South Africa about 14 years ago. So there must be more of them over there somewhere. Keep your eyes and ears peeled and who knows you may come across another one oneday.
Welcome to the greater bellett community/family.

Hi Frans

Welcome to a great forum.

Stick with it and you'll quickly learn lots about the Bellett. There's some walking (typing?) encyclopaedias on this site. You'll just have to make allowances for the sense of humour of quite a few, and if you've ever owned a Morris Marina, barracked for the springboks, or Proteas against Australia, or committed similar crimes against humanity, as a Bellet owner, you can now be forgiven. :P

Hey welcome to the forum Frans, nice to see a genuine new member who is NOT a spammer spamming Viagra or phones!

Yeah as GT Orpanage said, Buck and Zed are from South Africa; unsure what area though.

Gotta take care using "SA" on this forum though because South Australia is also SA!

Cheers, and welcome and all the best for you and your Bellett in the new year.

Hiya Frans,
I haven't forgotten about that wiring diagram scan for you, I've been a bit sidetracked past 3 weeks with a death in the family and now floods. I should be able to get back to work on Monday (17th) so should have it sorted early next week.
Hope all is well for you in SAf
