GT Air Cleaner Lids

Post by peterd »

Does anybody have a pair of GT Air Cleaner Lids (same as the chrome ones in the picture attached) they are willing to sell me. I picked up a load from my chrome platers today as they had the items for six months and only stripped them back. Unfortunately they have destroyed the lids in the process by leaving them in the bath for far too long. These people are supposed to be the best in Adelaide but from what I have received back they are not on my recommendation list. I have taken the goods to another chrome plater to finish the job. To say I am unhappy would be an extreme understatement.

I will also keep checking Yahoo in Japan as they do come up on that site from time to time. My preference is to try and find some locally.

Regards
Peter

I would rather not mention any names here for reasons you would understand.

Sorry to hear that Peter, it seems some don't understand the rarity of such spares. Sounds like one of us needs to go into chroming, it's not the first time I've heard of this happening. Hard to get quality work done it seems.
Sorry that I do not have any, not even for my own car. It has ram-flo ones on it.
Surely someone has, here's hoping.
Cheers, Matt.

Sometime back at one of the nationals there was an attendee who had some samples of covers that
he had spun up. If anybody was interested he would be able to take orders.
Can anybody recall who that person was.??

Dave.
