if the last time it was listed and the way the seller deals with prospective customers is anything to go by, that car will still be sitting there long after we're all gone fron god's green earth....

what an absolute dickhead the seller of this car is....

i spoke to him about it when it was first listed last month.
his words to me when he asked me to make an offer (which was probaly more than it's really worth i might add, unlike his eBay starting price....) were "i'll let it rust into the ground first...."
so when it was re-listed last week, i sent him a message on eBay, politely asking that if it didn't sell this time (which we all knew it wouldn't!!), to please contact me and maybe we could arrange a deal....
well, it didn't sell, and the reply message was the line "don't ever contact me again mate...."

ohh well, i guess this is one Bellett that could have been saved very easily but is destined to never be seen again.
what a waste!

I know from time to time cars end up at the local scrappies. And for a modest amount they can be purchased.
hopefully this will happen to this car.
Someone just needs to be near the area and be vigilant
good luck

Brett could probably tell you more but I don't think he will take less than $500 not worth it. He said he would let it rust. Gricey

Really, that's all? You'd pay half that for the carbies alone, wouldn't you? I thought I was the tightwad on this forum. :D

It will have a alloy head as well. Only thing the car is in Rochester not Melbourne. It's ok for you blokes with lots of $$$$$. Gricey

he said to me that the 500 was only a starting price so god knows what he thinks it's worth coz he also said that if it sold for that much if wouldn't be happy and if it had offers anything less than that he'd 'let it rust into the ground first...'. put simply it hasn't run for years, isn't complete and would need a full resto with alot more money thrown at it to do so, so in my book it ain't a $500 car in that condition, twin carbs or not.
