not this year, Dave. just a bit too much going on with house hunting and weddings etc etc

but i am hoping to have it setup within the next 6 months to be able to produce enough to keep the Bellett faithful in stock for their cars.

cheers

rubbers arrived today. thanks very much farmer :)

they are now in a Mold of clay and Max 30, being kept at a temp of 27 degrees with my modified Willow cooler and should be ready for removal tomorrow at 6pm.
then some cleaning, spray lub and re-pouring should have the 2nd half on its way.

i will post up some pics of the first finished prototype once they are out of the Molds.

cheers

OZ

for some time i have been saving snippets of posts of interest, re parts: not sure who posted this but there is a number here for the end rubbers. Can anybody confirm it and if still available ??

Re: Sway bar end rubbers ?
pedders make universeal ones in urethane/nolathane.
inner sedan ones are part# EPH18.
GT are different as they are a couple of mm thicker in the bar, but i can't remember the exact size or part# atm... but i think they are 21mm. i'll check when i'm near my GT again.
outer ends are all the same, part# EP3320/15.

can you paint them black?

i have all my bushes in my 68 sedan replaced before i bought it and they work a treat but i personally think the red looks bloody awful. hence why i have gone down the path of making my own black replica bushes.

cause i would like it to look as original as possible. but others may like showing off their RED bushes. not me!!

thanks flying and glenn

not keen on red either but if that all one can find then thats it i guess. I think paint would come off pretty quickly though with the flexing

should be able to find the equivalent parts in super pro/fulcrum bushings which are a dark blue colour if you are trying to keep it looking more origional, my preference is for blacl bushes on the car, but that may not always be an option.

Inner bar rubbers in blue

http://media.superpro.com.au/SuperProCa ... 14.005.pdf ee the HK Holden area. Various hole types for different sway bar diameters available too,

alos they sell the material in rod form which might be usable on a lathe to make the rack mount rubbers.

glenn

APPEARS THE LINK ABOVE IS NO LONGER VALID BUT THE COMPANY STILL EXISTS:

https://superpro.com.au/bush-sizing

Here's an example of a search using 21mm ID.
