Re: sneek shot of a bellett build
Nice period wheels - always looked good on orange ( similar to this Bellett ) Datsun 1600's in the early '70's.

Whatching this thread quietly in the wings, Greg. Thought it was a sedan from the first pic, but not sure until now. A touch of of "Rollie" inspiration there ? But with the additional black....
Like it.
Great attitude in the action shot

Re: sneek shot of a bellett build
yeah you got him
He knows I posted them now
I kept asking what colour it was being painted and he would not tell me as I have 1 mid resto and he does not know what colour I am painting mine so the challenge was on
I said if I found out i would post it
part of the rivalry thing
The thing is mine is in primer and I don't know what colour yet probably decide on the day

Has he told you what engine and running gear or is that still part of the rivalry between yourselves.

Re: sneek shot of a bellett build
Stock but it will run the old engine out of my race car as it is well and truly on its way through a rebuild. My race car was his but he never raced it the bloke he got it from raced it. That was the joke it was his engine so I didn't care if it blew up
It was tied but never played up. it has had a fair bit of work done to it but I recoed some bits for the use of it. The car I have has most of lizzies race car in it, and gt running gear from a pr90 including a gearbox. The interior dash and consol is pr91. So they should both go well.
Race him to tassie
Itwould not surprise me if the orange car gets a good flogging on the race track or his gt for that matter.

He is only a little bloke I think it so he can see over the dash. Move the pedal box and steering wheel back it will work fine.
Re: sneek shot of a bellett build

Should have painted the top of the front guards black as well and then tell everyone it was the only GTR sedan ever produced.

Donkey and Rufus say no stripes and I tend to agree...
