   | G'day my Bellett family It's road tripin' time again and the Queensland crew are on their way south, albeit in dribs and drabs this time. My plan for this year was to drive the Dubbo Wasp down (it was actually my nominated vehicle for the Nats) but circumstances with work/family/funds and Donkey miss behaving have resulted in the Wasp staying home and Donkey hitting the road again for another year. The only problem with that is, Ol Yella isn't coming and Donkey knows it. So it hasn't all been plain sailing this year so far. It all started last month when his alternator blew up, then 2 weeks ago his carby packed it in, as did the replacement one I put on and considering he is my only means of transport it then meant I had to pinch the carby off of the Wasp to get him going again, hence no Wasp again this year. Added to these couple of issues there is also the re-occurring 3rd exhaust valve issue he's had for 12 months and the split radiator I still haven't bothered to fix But we are on the road now and the hiccups and bumps are still popping up on the road........ a tyre blow out, fuel pump leaking, water pump starting to growl, the air conditioner and electric windows don't work But as every one knows, there are always some last minute Saturday morning checks that must be done before heading off on a 4000 mile roadtrip. Oil - Check Water - Check Pull half the head apart and grind down the top of the exhaust valve to get some tappet adjustment again - Attachment:

Our first night together was spent just south of Molong. A great night in great company heading to what will be without a doubt another GREAT weekend Attachment:

   | Thanks guys Yeah Matty we have cracked the whip a little this trip but still plenty of back roads. Staying a few days with the Grice's were I am sorting out some 12 month overdue radiator repairs and a pair of new tyres on the rear, been running on uneven tyre sizes since my blow out near Cowra. See everyone really soon _________________

   | Hi Gerry. The Kangaroo caller is brother Joe's attention grabber. Had everyone at our table entertained. He had to fine tune it a bit longer than usual. Enjoyed the Nationals. Dave._________________
