This year has been a struggle in both health and wealth (they go hand in hand when you work for yourself), so it means I simply can't go.
This is also why things down here have been very quiet this year.... My cars aren't being used at the moment too, but it is what it is.
Hope you all enjoy the Nats. Cheers.
NOoooooooooooo
That's such a bugger. I was really looking forward to catching up and carrying on with the usual banter over a few beers.
Gonna miss ya bro
Sorry to hear that your not coming. Brother Joe and my first Nationals was 2007. Having been welcomed by
yourself and Steve and big Ken.
Will miss the usual chat that we have. Hopefully 2018 will bring you a healthier and prosperous New Year.
We thought about getting in a day earlier and staying at our favorite Mudgee pub on Wednesday night, but seeing that we have ended up at Echuca tonight I don't think we will be there until Thursday now
After all it is a long way from the Sunshine Coast QLD to Mudgee....... via Albury....... via Echuca....... via Norm Vearing's at Wagga Wagga tomorrow..... via ??????
But we're still coming

Peggy and I would personally like to thank all the crew from Isuzu Car Club Australia, I wont name you all individually just incase I miss someone, but you all did a fantastic job and your efforts were greatly appreciated by all attendees, so sincerely, a very big thank you from us.
Trophy winner list & photos are featured on the "Honour Roll" page. Here are other photos from the Saturday Show n Shine. Almost all the organising group seem to have been missed but.... never mind!

$460 was raised at the 2017 Nationals for "Pink Up Mudgee" (McGrath Foundation). CONGRATULATIONS and THANKS for everyone that bought tickets in the raffle. Prizes were supplied by Isuzu Ute Australia & David Maurice. 1st prize was won by Alan Cherry, 2nd prize Chloe & Graham Hadley, 3rd prize Greg & Liz Moller.
A big thank you to Julie and Dave and all their helpers for another wonderful Nationals for 2017. As usual we all had a lot of fun, sight seeing, eating too much delicious food, mingling with old friends and making new ones. It was wonderful to welcome some new enthusiasts to our Isuzu family; and to know many will join us again next year.
Hope everyone had a good, safe trip home. Flo ran like a dream on Monday and we spent the night in the old town of Grenfell. The only motel turned out to be an old but very luxurious retreat with embroidered sheets and towels, doilies and a lovely crystal bowl on the table. Service was lovely and we had a fabulous welcome and meal at one of the 5-6 pubs. It was like walking back in time. We will definitely be going back for another visit. Flo played up on and off Tuesday with fuel problems and finally died about 2.5 klms from home - but still away we went and arrived home safely.
Now we look forward to the 2018 Nationals and wish Peggy, Steve and their helpers all the best.
Also I have looked at home for radiator hose clamps for you, but only have heater hose clamps. I will look at work next week, as I do have more Bellett bits up stairs.
Well, Dad and I would like to thank Julie, Tom, Neil, Jan and Dave for organizing a fantastic Nationals!
I can understand the effort that goes into the planning and catering for an event like this.
WELL DONE!
Thanks Sticky for your great photos leading up to and during the event. I’ll just put a few more up that are a little different.
Cheers,
Lewis and Dad ( John or Pop)
Ps we are sorting Dad’s 2 front teeth that come adrift and went m.i.a.......all I want for Christmas is my 2 front teeth....

I was sprung with this booty in my boot when I was packing the car going home via Bathurst. A choice selection of wines from 3 wineries we visited whilst in Mudgee.
He even thought of making it easy for mowing the lawns
This owner builder in Sofala who likes to use recycled materials has a little man cave annex he has called “Dickshonky projects”
I would like to thank all of you for making me feel welcome, specially those shared their home and their Porttheir unlimbited jokes. Still not home yet...but that's just a hop, step and a jump away
