Post by ubs_lover »

Hi, I'm not a Bellett owner, and I'm here because of my curiousty about Isuzu Unicab.
I'm still searching for a good Unicab when I see this :

The picture is not clear at all. I'm still trying to contact the seller and told my friend who lives in that province to check the vehicle.

Cheers,

sure is an Express... think of it as a Bellett wagon body, sedan height roof, GT doors, on a Wasp chassis.
very rare car!
where is it tho?

It's in Indonesia. Any Bellett.net who lives here?

I see some Unicab here, that's why I'm searching one, but I never thought that I find an Express.

The seller still out of town, he promise me that he will send some good quality photos of it.

That car is in Surabaya, it's near Bali (20min plane). So if anyone come to Bali, you can check that mysterious car. I'm trying to get the address.

Go Redback!
Well you are the closest, AND you're already booked! Gotta be worth a 20 min island hop.

This could be the catalyst for an Alice Springs nationals!
Or at least a run down to Adelaide next year?

GT rare? GTR rare? Florian rare? Tub-back Wasp rare? Now THIS is RARE! If it was a steak you'd have to wipe it's bum.

Where's Greg? Very quiet.........

Cheers, Matt

I've talk to the seller just a minute ago. The paper already changed to match the toyota engine, this usually why he want that price.
The seller still keep the original engine, and will give you if you buy this vehicle.

I'm still waiting for photos and address from him.

3.000$ is expensive, I can't buy it for you guys. But I will try to keep contact with the seller so we can still locate it wherever it goes.

I'm working in Bali Airport right now. I'm a contractor and my company build the new Airport. I can meet RedBack and maybe I can arrange someone who can guide you in Surabaya.

Just PM me.. :)

Already ask my friend who work in customs. He said that shipping to Australia can be done. Just remember to give clear description so Australian custom wouldn't declare it as "scrap" or "trash"

I'm from Trooper Indonesia Club (I'm fan of Trooper and 4wd Isuzu incl Unicab), and we have members in Surabaya. I will ask them if they can lend a place in their garage or do minor preparation before shipping this Express to Australia.

Andy

I would love to get my hands on it - but alas all my car parks at home (and in other places - folks) are taken up at the moment and not to mention the dollars are very very scarce at the moment. I can try and have a look and take shite loads of photos if someone is really really interested in adding it to their collections.

I will be swimming up to to our bar at the hotel and asking for a cooooooold Bintang then when that is finished going for a massage.
Other than that we will be eating and sleeping - CHEERS
