Re: Distributor Assembly

Hi Peter.
82300086 will suit G150C and G160 engines up to 1966.
82300093 will suit G150C-1. 1967. The difference between these 2 distributors is the cam, balance weight (governor) springs and the
vacuum advance. Isuzu lists a dizzy for the G161 late '68.

Re: Isuzu Bellett GT PR91 wiring harness

Clarification on my previous post. Thought it was getting pretty close to a novel.
The difference between a sedan and a GT harness.
The GT has a amp meter and the wire has a terminal joint in it to access the meter. The sedan doesn't have
this joint but I estimate that you may be able to adapt to ...

Re: Isuzu Bellett GT PR91 wiring harness

Hi Earthp. I have a few questions in regards to your request.
Have you got the old harness for your vehicle.?.
If you have. Is it "burnt out" or damaged in a way that you may not be able to salvage it.?.
Are you able to access a sedan harness.?.
Have you got a sedan and a GT wiring harness diagram ...

Re: GT Brake restoration in the UK

Thank you julieandtom. I have had calipers at my brake specialist for quiet some time. All 4 pistons were shot.
He was concerned that the locating pin in the centre of the piston was necessary and finding a piston with a pin
and diameter required would be hard to get.
I assured him that a piston ...

Re: Reston twin losing its yellow paint

Cutting the 5 speed transmission housing away is what I had done to fit the standard starter to my sedan. The housing shown
is probably out of a KB Rodeo or a UBS Jackaroo Diesel (left hand starter) with a what we called in the auto parts industry
a "dropped down starter drive". I manufactured a ...

Hi Glenn.
Your correct. Both bores are 3/4". 19.05mm.
The secondary cup on the single master cylinder is the same cup on the secondary piston on the twin.
The secondary piston is the piston at the back of the cylinder and operates the front brakes.
All the other cups are different part numbers. Did ...

I was wondering if the South Australia importer had GT's come in without the factory heater and fitted an accessory type just to keep costs down.

car I fitted a Smiths' heater ...
