Dont expect to see it out too quick Matt. I have to finish patches first he goes for paint next monday there is a six week wait then. (Patches is now drivable ). so maybe we will strip it out.
The plan is to take our time and bring it to original starting with the chassis being sandblasted and powdercoated as well as all chassis parts. I know powdercoating is not original but its the best way to do it right. I have 2 3 bearing motors to choose from. We need work on the front guards but the rh one is sad the wasp behind the shed has guards but they have been flared, the rh door is too far gone but we have a few of them and both sills are in need of replacement. The well type is in poor condition but the wasp behind the shed has a better one. At this stage i don't expect to see the chassis rolling until after christmas. I want to start my other gt next year also. It too will be a few year project. Then i am retiring from restorations ;).
The wasp behind the shed has been hacked pretty bad firewall mods panels bogged together blocks welded onto the chassis to lift kit  ect. It's a pig really i have messured a dihatsu 4wd chassis and we could build a 4wd one but :?: :?: it would be rough unless it was a ground up job. It has been fitted with a gemini engine and the gearstick comes through a axe wound  but it was full of parts and seven donor cars including a gt that has helped a few forum members out. Now we have this one it will be handy to pick better parts for the new one.
btw Dave in sa i have the colum shift set up here for you ;). i have been meaning to give it to gricey.

Good to see the old girl in good hands. Might just stick with what i know for now, the trusty ol toyotas have kept me busy. I have actually found another project, since i have sold the wasp, and now have to sell my pride and joy: my 1977 corolla coupe. Going a slightly different direction: an MS65 toyota crown.

professional....not really sure i would call myself that. Had a little practice, alot of fun, and made some great friends along the way.
With all the paperwork and information i have on my new addition to the family, I don't have any pictures on the interior. Does anyone have any pictures of the original interior of a wasp :?:
I have one of the steering coloum and a hint of suggestion of what the door skins should be, but i would like to see maybe a shot from the drivers side through to the passenger side :D
Not asking for a lot.
Im still on the look for the book to go with the wasp :D . If anyone falls over one let me know...please

Niiiiiiice Kerry, very original-spec.

Good to see you are BOTH in the shed, Liz. Looks like you'll have the Styleside / Tabletop combo! Not MANY can claim that one!
Cheers, Matt.
