Hi everyone,
June long weekend brings us the Henry Lawson Festival, but this year we thought we'd try Grenfell instead of Gulgong. Apparently he was born in Grenfell, but lived in Gulgong. Any excuse for a parade!
The good bit is that as well as a street parade on Saturday, there is a carshow on Sunday, with many categories including Japanese. There are trophies & stuff offered by the strong local car club.
Attending so far are Gary C - 117 coupe, Dennis S - '68 Bellett, Gary S - mystery, and us in the Florian.
If anyone is able to come along, please do. There is a program of non-car stuff as well. Details are at http://www.grenfell.org.au/henrylawsonfestival
Hopefully attached are carshow flyer & entryform.

Cheers, Matt.

So, the long weekend is almost here!
We look likely to have visitors from Sydney (Isuzu Car Club of Aus).
Weather looks diabolical for this week, but tipped to clear & be nice for the weekend.
If you're about, come & say gooday.

I work at an information centre in Boorowa a couple of days a week now, and on Friday a bloke came in for some info. After a while he asks "Who owns the Florian out the front?" "That would be me."
Turns out he is a Sydney Bellett Club member from back in the day. Last contact he had was about '92. Now lives in Canberra with a weekender not far from here. Sadly doesn't have any Belletts, but might look for a Wasp. It's a small world!
Hopefully we'll see him on the weekend for a longer talk.

Cheers, Matt.

Well, it's been a top weekend, with beautiful sunny warm days (14c !) and big crunchy frosts.
Just the 4 cars, Dennis wasn't able to come.
Tom & Julie, Gary, Gary Carter and my family. Great conversation, good tucker, friendly locals & plenty to see.

A few pics:

Ready for a parade.

Hey Matt,
A small but concise lineup almost covering the entire early Isuzu PV range.
Just needed a Wasp.
Question.... Has Tom recently repainted his GT? It looks a darker orange.
Cheers, Lewis
