Bruce has been in town at the panel shop getting the grandma dents removed and a fresh make up job. Now I need to strip the engine bay and get the engine bay freshened up. A little tidy up is all it really got, Most of the running gear is Lizzies race car except the gearbox. I did not survive  We used a gt gearbox and a gt floor pan. The suspension is lowered and a set of Koni shocks. Mx5 seats and gt instrumentation. If all goes well it will be our Tassie tourer.

some picks drivers door is still in the booth. Bruce's drivers door supports too much bog or my liking.

Yet another amazing revamp off the orphanage production line. Always cool that each rebuilt car has its own unique set of wheels. Could be due to the access to midnight spares :D :)

Bruce is almost ready for Tassie ;) Some happy snaps it is coming up fine but he was not a all out resto just tinkering here and there. He was left at the local panel shop for 8 months and when they were quiet they worked on him. A couple of doors were replaced as they were full of bog both rear quarters near the tail lights had hits but he only had rust in the bottom of 1 guard that has had a new bottom made. He is not perfect but should be fun to drive. 8-)

Very nice. Did you make the bumperettes from a couple of Bellett bumpers....? Or off another car?

is the white you used a 'late' paint colour or original Isuzu mix? Looks nice. In fact very nice. White seems to suit the Bellett very well.

not 100% right it was just a close mix. This car is a bitsa not a prime example in any case :!: a purist would have a nightmare over this car it has a gt middle section rear bumper early sedan ends, 3 bearing engine pr90 gearbox, painted deluxe instrument cluster pr91 gauges and console, gtr bumpers late gt front parkers and anything else i can find. I am mix and matching a grill to see what happens :?: A laid back semi resto with a cheap respray.

I did not like the look of the original grill with the bumperetts and a 69 grill I only had the centre. so I had a play still needs tidy up but something different :?

Looks good. Can't wait to see it in the metal. Your right about the purist having a nightmare. My sedan has a mixture as well.
Modified engine. 5 speed g/box. Gemini front lights and side blinkers. Front bumper @ GT level. Same as "Yellow Peril's.I try to have every mod. ISUZU. I would say that by the looks of things you've achieved the same and also utilising a "across the model" parts supply.

Bruce is unique now, and will have his own personality. Grille looks great like that I reckon. Might as well use those good bits as leave them in the shed! Would you call him a 'mild custom'? Or just Bruce, thats his name.
Top work,
Matt.
