CARnivale' in Sydney 2016
Re: CARnivale' in Sydney 2016
yes I checked with wikepedia both mk I and mk2 were made as converibles the mki were made and shipped to Bermuda the mk2 came out as convers and cabriolets ...400 were made plus by a company called Crayford the most desirable being the lotus convertible Cortina there is 126 on the uk register so maybe that's a real rare car not a mock up it tells in the article how to pick them cheers davo

If it is the car I had at work, it was supposed to be a factory convertible. From memory though, it was a little bit rough on closer inspection.

Would be interesting to know VIN No. and engine No, to check out the cars validity. From what we saw and from where I took the photo, I must say it did look in pretty good condition.
Next question, were any sold through Dealers in Australia?
It was the first I have seen.

If correct, in my opinion a pity the roof was chopped off, I don't believe a convertible was ever produced by the factory?
Anybody know any different??
