Hey guys,
SA gentleman Tony Grivell has contacted me to advise he is selling his beloved Bellett sedan.
He bought it new in 1967, I think he said, and parked it about 15 years ago in a shed in the country. He told me it ran when parked and he has no reason to believe that it wouldn't be in perfect working order. He's about two hours out of town, so I've not been to see the car personally, but I would have to assume the brakes would need attention; I'm only speculating but it seems to be a thing with these cars!
Engine wise, we've all seen Belletts pulled out of sheds, paddocks and worse that start with some spark and some fuel.
He had the interior done at some point.
The car comes with a spare parts car with some bits missing; eg a door and a quarter that are on the main car!
He's not sure of a price and is open to offers; I'm certain he's not after HT Monaro money, thankfully!
If you're interested, please get in touch with me via the forum, Facebook or give me a buzz (many, many of you have my number!).
Cheers,
Dave

Nice looking car, when I saw one owner I was tempted to jump in and purchase it, take a look at the Black jellybean posts and you might get the idea why I hesitated.

Heh yeah I've always said there are two types of one-owner cars; the immaculate ones and the ones that are totally cactus.
This clearly falls in between and although it's far from immaculate, it's certainly closer to that end of the scale that 'cactus'.
It would have been fine but for the last few years it went thru a succession of kids; that probably didn't help much and I suspect it's the reason he parked it up!

I see that some stage it was "CAT" powered.
Pic #1.
Give the tail a few winds and listen to what may happen.
Only frontal pics.
Are there any rear pics available.
Someone may want a all round view.

Hey Dave,
I know that this is a bit of a stab in the dark as the last post was some time ago but do you know if this car was sold or is it still up for grabs?
Thanks!
