Re: 2015 Nationals photos!
Guess it's my turn to throw up some ripper pics of Monday night and Tuesday.
Apart from the great company on Monday night, we got to stand amongst the Big Fellas awesome collection of Belletts
Iwas like a kid in a lolly shop
First time I've every seen Lizzies Wasp in the steel and every bit as wicked as i had imagined.
Early start Tuesday and the sound of idling Belletts graced what was a spectacular morning in Gods own country. Off we went in convoy, so nice watching Lewis' PR90 ahead pulling through the Glass House Mountains with ease, and Donkey rounding everyone up in the rear vision...
.
Here are the eager troops assembling outside the iconic pub before heading the last leg to Bowdens. Stickman and myself stood there in awe of the iconic pub and Greg....well...as happy as Larry. Donkey looking eager as ever. And Lewis' PR90 immaculately horn, damn you Lewis
Last stop Bowdens with our host Dan, quite the character he is, talking us through a very personal collection of the greatest motor racing history ever, the stuff we grew up on watching on black and white tv until mid 70's when color first got on the screen. It brought back child hood memories of the heros we grew up to love and hate. None other more than standing next to the 05's in the steel, got a bit emotional
Thankyou Dan, thankyou QLD Bellett family......oh, and it's time to upgrade my chamois.

Re: 2015 Nationals photos!
Thanks for the photo Bruno and the comments guys. I failed to get photos of many of the Cars at the show day myself. Matt may have missed photographing the GT's too.
I hand polished my car whilst my back was sore before the trip....my back is nearly better....I hope yours isn't too sore Matt.
The Bowdens Garage tour was definitely a highlight of the trip for me
Cheers,
Lewis.

Lewis' PR90, so nice. Gerry's sweet 67, Best GT award. Tom and Julie's GT-R. Half shaft replaced just in time for judging! So many! So sweet.

Re: 2015 Nationals photos!
Ohhh WOW!! What a turn out of GT(R)'s. Thanks Matt, have been waiting in anticipation of these. With such selection, there would have been a fine line in the judging. Blue Beastie would have appeared a bit shabby in the company of THAT line up
Got enthused in this hot weather SA has thrown up since getting back. Dropped the water and flushed radiator/head on Bluie. It's been two years and need to prep it for a hot summer. Surprisingly clean inhibitor and your usual bit of brown crud
Also found a spring manufacutrer I will visit tomorrow for two new throttle linkage return springs and a correct compression spring on the main linkage
Rest up Matt, won't be long you'll be dancin' again
Cheers, B.
