Re: chrome strip front gaurd
Sorry I can't help Dave. Over the years of building and wrecking a few Belletts I probably chucked out just what you want. My first Bellett, I 'de-chromed' it...... ie removed all the stainless strips and filled the holes. All long gone now.BULLITT wrote:then again I guess I'm wasting my time asking for a part ...I am about to send some bits to a guy in lima peru he needs the bits I have spare and he will get them wake up guys open your stash and your hearts its called karma ...then again some of you don't believe in that ..its fill up the shed and shut it .....

Don't know who you are having a swipe at Davo, but defiantly don't have cupboards of stock locked away. I take offense to innuendos.BULLITT wrote:then again I guess I'm wasting my time asking for a part ...I am about to send some bits to a guy in lima peru he needs the bits I have spare and he will get them wake up guys open your stash and your hearts its called karma ...then again some of you don't dbelieve in that ..its fill up the shed and shut it .....

Hmm, yeah, remain calm I reckon. We're all mates after all, just busy with life and all our own stuff.
I haven't found any perfect front strips, they have minor dents or twists. Perhaps a pannel beater could work the little dent out?
I will ask Gary Carter, he has a few bits still.
Matt.
